The Imagineering Model: What Disney Theme Parks Can Teach Us About Instructional Design
by Lou Prosperi, Documentation and Curriculum, Manager, Oracle
Presented at SALT 2010
Abstract:
This presentation examines several principles, practices, and techniques
employed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the design and construction of
Disney Theme parks, and explores how those same principles, practices,
and techniques can be applied to the instructional design process. The
presentation also includes a high-level overview of the Imagineering
process and the parallels between that process and the traditional ADDIE

Screenr Free Screencasting Tool and Apple's Keynote Presentation Tool
Two tools I've come across today while browsing Instructional Design blogs...
Tool #1:
Another free screencast tool that looks promising:
Screenr
An example of this tool being used:

Tool #2
Keynote from Apple. This tool creates pretty slick Flash presentations. If we only all had iPads...
Keynote
Cahty Moore, on her blog, demonstrates this tool within her presentation on creating on-thejob training in:
The anti-course: And instructional job aid
Of course, I'll also add these items to the Resources section of the RIDDLE blog.
